This is the first stage of the design process. One to two of our decorating consultants will travel to your home. This visit typically is one to one and a half hours in duration. During the visit they will do a thorough evaluation of the space.
Some of the things the consultants will do at this initial assessment are:
- Assess your needs.
- Take note of furniture etc. that you would like incorporated into the design.
- Measure rooms, windows and existing furniture and accessories as required.
- Discuss design ideas, needs and wants.
- Take photographs of the space and inventoried items.
After the assessment the client is provided with a detailed proposal outlining the design fees based on the information collected and the square footage of the space.
Please note If the client chooses to go forward with the proposal the $125 space assessment fee already paid is subtracted from design fees for the project. No design work is commenced until the proposal is signed and the remainder of the fees are paid.
